Nepal is a one of most  famous country between China and India in Asia for their culture celebration, festivals, Gods and Goddess. Mostly every day in the corner of Nepal somewhere they celebrate some festival. In Nepal, here are some date fixed festivals, some seasonal festival, full moon festivals and much more festivals which is related to their respect culture and religions.

Dashain is one of most auspicious , longest and biggest festival for Hindus people of Nepal  Every Year October/November as per their domestic moon lunar calendar fortnight to full moon for 15 days.  About 87 percentages of people are in Hindu Community in Nepal. The Dashain Festival commemorates is great victory of good over the wicked demons. One of the story explain in Ramayan Holy Grantha, where the lord  and (Prince from Ayaodhya he became King later) Ram after a big struggle slaughtered Ravana, the fiendish king of demons. It is said that lord Ram was successful in the battle only when goddess Durga was evoked. The main celebration glorifies the triumph of good over evil and is symbolized by goddess Durga slaying the terrible demon Mahisasur, who terrorized the earth in the guise of a brutal water buffalo. The first nine days signify the nine days of ferrous battle between goddess Durga and the demon Mahisasur (Water Buffalo Face Daemon). The tenth day is the day when Mahisasur was slain and the last five days symbolize the celebration of the victory with the blessing of the goddess. Dashain is celebrated with great rejoice, and goddess Durga is worshiped throughout the kingdom as the divine mother goddess. Also symbol of Power and Wisdom.

Day 1 to 7: Ghatasthapana to Before Phulpati  Beginning  Day of Dashain - This day all the Hindus Families the main oldest person take bath and manage a small kalas (Small Vase with full of fresh water with colorful flower and colors paint) symbolizing goddess Durga often with her image embossed on the side is placed in the prayer room. The kalash is filled with holy water and covered with cowdung on to which seeds are sown. A small rectangular sand block is made and the kalash is put in the centre. The surrounding bed of sand is also seeded with grains. The ghatasthapana ritual is performed at a certain auspicious moment determined by the astrologers. At that particular moment the priest intones a welcome, requesting goddess Durga to bless the vessel with her presence. The sand are sprinkled with holy water every morning and it is shielded from direct sunlight. By the tenth day, the seed will have grown to five or six inches long yellow grass. The sacred yellow grass is called 'Jamara'. It is bestowed by the elders atop the heads of those younger to them during the last five days when tika is put on. The jamara is taken as a token of Goddess Durga as well as the elders blessing.

Day 7: Phul Pati - This is the preparation and get ready for 3 days Festival. On the house they organize 5 or 9 different varieties of flower, trees, fruits and grass mixed vase with Kalash vase. Enter to Home by Priest  (Guru)  with holy spiritual mantra against bad demons goods and blessing wish.

Day 8: Maha Asthami - A famous day of Dashain the fervor of worship and is called Animal Sacrifice day as well for to make Goddess Kali Bhawani Happy by giving animal blood. Every Non Vegetarians families offer at list a innocent animal for god/goddess and eat that meat as holy prasad. (Holy Meat gifted by goddess) Eat verities of testy cosine and ware new clothe get together with friends, families. Plyaing and swing with different happiness activities. At Night of day eight  is called Kal Ratri (The dark Night) They offer 108 different animals and Panche Banli (Water Buffalo, Male Goat, Duck, Pigeon, Male Chicken Roster)  sacrifice and give that blood to Kali and Mahakali for wishing enough power. In the Main Temple and Durbar square of Kathmandu and Gorkha, Nuwakot king palace. Beside of that many of Nepalese families secrefice thousand of Goats, Water Buffalos, Sheep's and other animal's for Meat.

Day 9: Nava Ratri or Maha Nawami - This is the day people visit different nine faces and named of Durga Bhawani and Mahakali temple from down till dusk.  Eat, Enjoy and Get relax with local mass.

Day 10: Maha Dashai Tika, Is the main dashain festival day.  A day  God Ram has win the big war against dark demons  Raban  using by Kali, Mahakali and Bhadrakali goddess deities and as per calendar they  take Tika and Jamara which was planted 9 days before. Gathering families member and Get wish and bless from old family member and relatives each other.


Day 11 to 15: They keep continue take tika and jamara with wishes and bless from relatives, families than after full moon the fest will end.
