Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar Tal
Holy Kailash Parbat with Lake Mansarovar

Dharma Mansarovar Kailash Yatra 2016
Mansarovar Lake with Gorla Mandata Mountain

Lake Mansarovar is one of the biggest, spiritual and clean lake in Tibet, is called center of universe.  Also it believe Goddess Parbati (Wife of Shiva) lived and take bathing together with Shiva. The lake is about 61 km square. Around the lake there are 8 important Buddhist Monastery. 4 of them we can visit along the route and rest are difficult. The lake and holy kailash distance only 30 km. When weather is good you can have panoramic view of Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar Lake View. All the yatri will take a spare day in Mansarovar tal for a holy bath, puja, hawan and their special ritual ceremony.

Most of devotes make a holy circle walk around the kailash over the high pass Dolma -La (5631 m) within 3 days  with their special desire it called Kailash (Kora) Parikarma. This is the outer route of pilgrimage yatra to Kailash. There is inner route to kailash which is more difficult, technical and goes more high altitude places begin from after 5km drive from darchen Sherlung Monastery. Generally this route is banded for pilgrimage yatri because of safety reason. But still some of Yatri will deem to make that Kailash Inner kora once. It is about 22km and that take almost more than 10 hours day hikes. You will reach just bottom of Kailash and Saptarishi cave and Atma Lingam. This route suggested only for experience, young and strong kailash yatri in less snowing season.

Year 2015 was a not good time for all Kailash yatri, because of Tibetan political problem, Nepal disaster (Earthquake and some Tibet internal problem with the flight. Although some of yatri and kailash tour yatra agency they made kailash mansarovar yatra successfully.
