Royalty free peak climbing in Nepal

Government of Nepal and Nepal Mountaineering Association manage followign trekking peaks are royalty free and every tourist can climb with the support from Trekking Agency Climbing team from coming November 2014.

 As  per  the  decision  of  Ministry  of  Culture,  Tourism  and Civil Aviation,  mountains of the height less than 5800m will be promoted as trekking peaks and royalty fee has been waived for those peaks. Hence, the  following  peaks  managed by NMA are free of royalty fee from now onwards.

Mardi Himal (5587m)
Yala Peak (5732 m)
Chukung ri (5550 m)

Mani Rimdu Festival - The biggest Buddhist Fest and Mask dance Ceremony on the lap of Mt. Everest Base Camp Trekking Route in 3800m.
