Between Autumn and Spring, Nepal has Winter time. Will be more cold, Foggy in the valleys, Less  sunshine, Snow falls in the Himalayas, The days are shorter than nights and sometime cold winds blows on.  Nepal is a Natural diversity richest country from the low altitude from (70m Kechana Kalan Jhapa) to the highest point (8848m. Mt. Everest). A land, where you can feel all conditions  of weather in all year. But, there are some of nice moderate valleys, low altitude trekking areas, wild and remote villages, ethical Nepalese groups and classic trade route trails where you can go for trekking in winter months. Those areas are nor really effected form winter and sun shining mostly, not that cold. Because you are not trekking over 3600m - 11880FTs within short duration.  Those trek you will get a home environment with family, not get altitude sickness, not very top hiking, great view of Himalayas, Sun rise and Sunset view, getting more close with the local culture,  community and worry free hiking on comfort and it not necessary for proper adventure hiking equipment  for those trek. There are many numbers of benefits form trekking in winter time of the year, not least that the trails are very quiet and the weather.

Great Hindu Festival Maha Shivaratri - Monday, 7th of March 2016. Celebrating in World Biggest Shiva Temple in Kathmandu , Pashupatinath and around Hindus Lord Shiva and native Temples. The Bhaktas (Devotes) touch the Shiva Lingam and got Blessed from Lord Shiva for their good life, happiness to family, natives and the world.
