Happy Mt. Everest Celebration Day.

29 May 1953 Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary  has made first successful attempt of Mt. Everest.  On the occasion of this history Every year Everest Marathon start from Everest Base Camp. We wish all the best for all of Marathon participant.

Winners of the Extreme Ultra (60k) has been announced. They're as follows:
1st: Tirtha Bahadur Tamang (6:36:13)
2nd: Purna Tamang (6:45:05)
3rd: DB Kulung (6:55:28)




Top three female runners in the Full Marathon Category are:
1) Purnimaya Rai( 5:24:00 hrs)
2) Nirkala Kulung(5:38:01 hrs)
3) Pasang Dolma Shrepa (6:31:39 hrs)

Mani Rimdu Festival - The biggest Buddhist Fest and Mask dance Ceremony on the lap of Mt. Everest Base Camp Trekking Route in 3800m. Tangboche Monastery build and founded by Lama Gellu in 1981 AD.  and this monastery has strong ties with Rongbuk Monastery in Tibet just front of North side Everest Base Camp.
